The National WWII Museum is known for timeless 1940s-style entertainment which adds a unique dimension to special events! The Victory Belles, our charming vocal trio, delights visitors and often performs with our signature musical groups — The Victory Swing Orchestra, The Victory Six and The Victory Trio. These talented professionals help keep America’s magical musical history alive, celebrating this unique era and making any event all the more special.

The Victory Belles

The songs, the style, the spirit of America! These glamorous girls will take your guests on a nostalgic musical journey through WWII-era classics including spirited performances of such hits as "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree," "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and dozens more — all sung in rich, three-part harmony. The Victory Belles have performed to cheering audiences and rave reviews at major events across America and abroad. Let them add an incomparable touch to your event.

The Victory Six

This exciting swing band features some of New Orleans' finest musicians, dedicated to preserving the sound and style of the memorable big bands of the 1940s. Complete with period costuming, signature bandstands and an abundant library of dance favorites, the band brings to life the music of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Harry James and many others, The Victory Six is the Gulf South's premier 1940s swing band ensemble.

The Victory Swing Orchestra

This unique 20-piece ensemble is committed to performing only the original arrangements of the big bands and their WWII-era hits. Their wide repertoire includes two signature shows: Sentimental Journey, featuring the music of Benny Goodman, Harry James, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington and more; and In the Mood, a performance of all Glenn Miller classics. The Victory Swing Orchestra and guest vocalists give your guests a truly authentic and nostalgic musical experience.

The Victory Trio

This versatile three-piece group can be customized for your event to include any combination of the following instruments: trumpet, saxophone, piano, bass, guitar or vibraphone. Classic popular songs such as "Stardust," "In a Sentimental Mood," "Body and Soul" and "Besame Mucho" are but a few examples from their vast repertoire of the great music from the 1940s. They are the perfect musical complement to events where light background music is preferred.
